Logging a set, in the Jotlift app

Logging a set

Free

The logbook is free

Your workouts live on your phone. Nothing is asked of you before you start.

Works offline, no account

Weight and reps come up where you left them last time, so a repeat workout is mostly tapping through.

Unlimited workouts and history

Personal bests too, including estimated 1RM and relative strength.

Export whenever

Take your whole log as a file and keep it.

Backup and restore

Make a free account and your log is stored, so a new phone is not a fresh start. Restoring is free forever, subscribed or not.

Pro · the headline

Auto progression tells you when to go up

Three workouts at the same weight, mostly hitting the same reps, and Jotlift tells you it is time to go up. That is the whole rule.

It shows the count it is working from. You can check it against your own history.

It never lowers a weight. A lighter day neither counts towards the three nor resets them.

It does not tell you what to lift. The next set comes up greyed, ready to change, and Jotlift defers to whatever you actually log.

What you see

Bench press

3 sets

Increase weight. 3 workouts at 100 kg. Aiming for 5 reps.

SetPreviouskgReps
W50 × 8508
1100 × 51005
2100 × 51005

One line on the exercise card, above your sets. It never overwrites a set you have logged.

The run it counted

Mon 7 Sep 100 kg × 5 Counted, 1 Thu 10 Sep 100 kg × 5 Counted, 2 Mon 14 Sep 100 kg × 4 Skipped Thu 17 Sep 100 kg × 5 Counted, 3

Three counted, so Jotlift speaks up. The 4 fell short of the rest, so it was skipped: it did not count towards the three, and it did not reset them either.
